Master's degree or PhD
As part of the Master's program "Applied Physical Geography and Mountain Research", students can take a wide range of different courses and make polar research a focus of their studies. While writing their Master's theses, they can then become part of the research team. The master students are also involved in international cooperations through our research partners.
Individual courses at the Department of Geography and Regional Science at the University of Graz can also be chosen as additional training or as a free elective subject to one's own studies.
In the context of international projects on Arctic research at the University of Graz, there are opportunities for PhD students. The university also supports you in developing your own project idea.
